Senior Hamas official Abdel Hakim Henini has urged Palestinians in the West Bank to mobilize against what he described as ongoing assaults on Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. In a statement released on the official Hamas Telegram channel, Henini called for resistance against Israeli settlers and occupying forces.
“We reiterate how important it is for Palestinian youth to stand up to the occupying forces,” Henini stated. He emphasized the need for Palestinians to actively oppose the conditions in the besieged Gaza Strip and the actions of Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
Henini framed the situation as part of a broader conflict, claiming, “A global war is being waged against the Palestinian people, their rights, and their resistance forces. The US administration is a true partner in all the massacres being perpetrated against our people.”
The statement comes amid heightened tensions and violence in the region, with increasing clashes between Israeli settlers and Palestinians in the West Bank and ongoing airstrikes and blockades affecting Gaza. Henini’s remarks underscore the ongoing strife and the call for renewed resistance among Palestinian youth.
