A heinous massacres unfolded in Saturday’s midday July 13th by Israeli army against Palestinian civilians taking shelter in Mawasi Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli aircraft pounded tents of the displaced people, including a food kitchen, early Saturday, with five missiles, proved to be of US origins, causing massive destruction that led to the burial of the bodies beneath the ground.
Civil Defense teams hurried to rescue the wounded people as a result of the massacre were fatally bombarded while driving their vehicles.
The massacre was committed against displaced people, including women and children, who had fled to the Mawasi previously declared by the Israeli military as “safe zones”.
The same area witnessed several massacres bringing death to hundreds of Palestinains, including children.
Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the number of people killed is about 80 ones with nearly 300 others were wounded, some were seriously.
Until now, medical and Civil Defense teams continue to search for martyrs and the wounded despite limited capabilities after the Israeli occupation destroyed the health centers accross the Gaza enclave.
The Head of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis announced the suspension of the hospital’s services following the overwhelming number of casualties and severe shortages of medical supplies and personnel, expressing deep frustration with the world’s inability to pressure Israel into providing necessary resources, including fuel, essential for continuing to serve thousands of Palestinians in critical need.
While, the Israeli military claimed thay had targeted Al-Qassam bridges general leader Mohammed Al-Deif, Abu Khaled in today’s attack, Hamas movement immediately denied the claims and said its leader is in good health and his place isn’t among civilians.
Dr. Osama Nofal, the Director General of Policies and Planning at the Ministry of Economy in Gaza, was among the victims of Israeli massacre at the displacement tents in Mawasi Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation aircraft launched a missile at Palestinian worshippers in Al-Shati refugee camp, resulting in the massacre of at least 17 Palestinians and injuring dozens.
According to the Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv, citing the director of the Military Technology Company Asgard, the missiles used in today’s Israeli massacre on Mawasi Khan Yunis are American-made JDAMs. This confirms multiple reports stating that the United States okayed the transfer of these missiles to Israel a few days ago.
