At least 90 Palestinians have been killed and 300 wounded in an Israeli air attack on the al-Mawasi refugee camp, which had been designated as a “safe zone” by the Israeli occupation, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
The Israeli occupation army claimed the strike targeted senior Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif. However, Hamas quickly rejected this assertion, labeling it as “false” and stating that the victims were “defenceless civilians.”
Witnesses at the scene reported that rescue workers and health teams were targeted by Israeli occupation forces as they arrived to provide aid.
Since the conflict began on October 7, at least 38,443 Palestinians have been killed and 88,481 wounded in Gaza due to Israeli occupation military actions.
