Qatar Condemns Colonial Settlers Violations Against Al-Aqsa Mosque

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs firmly condemned Tuesday, 27 September 2022 the constant Israeli settlers storming of al-Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and a provocation to the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world. 

In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the continuation of serious and provocative violations against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque clearly reveals the intention of the Israeli occupation to direct the conflict into a religious war. 

 In this context, the Ministry urged the international community to immediately interfere to stop Israeli colonial settlers’ practices and violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian people. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar toward Palestine’s just cause and the Palestinian people’s legitimate right to establish their independent state.

Media sources reported that scores of Israeli colonial settlers invaded today the courtyards of the sacred Al-Aqsa mosque guarded by the heavily armed Israeli settlers for the second consecutive day, performing Talmudic provocative rituals in its yards. 

4 Palestinians were arrested and many others were assaulted and injured by the Israeli occupation forcses during the constant violations against the Al-Aqsa mosque.
