Palestinians in the Qalandia camp in occupied Jerusalem organized a vigil to demand Israel release the body of the slain Muhammad Shaham, shot dead by Israeli forces on August 15.
Mohammed Shaham was fatally shot and killed on August 15 by Israeli occupation forces, who broke into his house in the town of Kafr Aqab, northwest of Jerusalem.
In late August, an official autopsy report confirmed that Palestinian Mohamed Shaham, 21, died from bullets fired point-blank by Israeli soldiers on August 15.
This came after Shaham’s family submitted two requests for conducting the autopsy and returning their son’s body.
Israeli occupation authorities still hold Shaham’s dead body along with 17 bodies of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Jerusalem.
