A group of Palestinian citizens took to the streets Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the Palestinian city of Tayibe in central Palestine in protest of the Israeli policy of home demolitions targeting the native Palestinian population in the country.
The protests broke out after a local Palestinian resident, Diaa Jaber, was notified that his home would be demolished soon by the Israeli occupation forces.
The protesters blocked the main road in the city to express their rejection of the Israeli policy, under which dozens of homes and structures in the city are at risk of sudden demolition.
Israeli police forces reportedly clamped down on the protesters in an attempt to disperse them according to eye-witnesses.
