Medical sources at Rafidia Hospital in Nablus announced today, Tuesday, June 20, the death of Amjad Aref Al-Jaas, 48, who succumbed to wounds he sustained by the occupation forces’ bullets during their aggression on the occupied West Bank city of Jenin yesterday.
With the murder of Al-Jaas, the death toll of the Israeli aggression on Jenin and its refugee camp has risen to six, including a child. Around 100 others have been wounded, 22 of whom were critically wounded.
At dawn Monday, June 19, Israeli troops invaded occupied Jenin and attacked Palestinian citizens, killing five Palestinians and injuring 91 others.
Israeli warplanes took part in the incursion and targeted a Palestinian home in the Jabriyat neighborhood in occupied Jenin.
The occupied West Bank city of Jenin has seen escalating violence by Israeli occupation forces since the start of 2023. IOF has frequently invaded Jenin and caused casualties.
On a semi-daily basis, Israeli troops carry out military raids in the West Bank cities, terrorizing Palestinian families, kidnapping, or/and even killing Palestinians.
So far in 2023, Israeli occupation forces and settlers have killed about 171 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
