DaysofPal- A Palestinian man was killed on Friday morning after being targeted by an Israeli drone in southern Gaza, amid continued Israeli violations of the fragile ceasefire in Gaza.
Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis confirmed the death, saying the victim was struck by gunfire from an Israeli military drone inside the “yellow line” area of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis.
Local sources identified the martyr as Abdullah Wajdi Rizq Hammad, who succumbed to injuries sustained in an earlier strike on the area.
The latest incident comes as tensions rise over the repeated Israeli breaches of the ceasefire agreement. Hamas said earlier that the Israeli violations undermine efforts to maintain the truce.
According to local reports, Israeli artillery also shelled several areas east of Khan Younis, while new airstrikes targeted Rafah. Israeli naval forces opened fire toward the shores of Rafah, and military vehicles fired shots northeast of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Since the ceasefire took effect on 11 October, the death toll from Israeli attacks has reached 352 Palestinians, with 896 wounded, while 605 bodies have been recovered from various areas of the Strip.
The continued attacks have raised concerns that the ceasefire may not hold if violations persist, particularly as humanitarian conditions in Gaza remain dire.
