A Palestinian medic worker was killed Saturday morning, October 7th, 2023, after an Israeli airstrike pounded the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza with several missiles.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that citizen Mohammed Ra’fat Joma’a was on duty working at the Indonesian Hospital when Israeli aircraft targeted the place with directed missiles, resulting in Mohammed’s death and the injury of several employees and patients.
The Israeli airstrike further caused massive damage in the place, leading to a malfunction of the major oxygen station at the hospital and breaking down of other devices, the Ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry thereby strongly condemned this inhumane atrocity against the medical centre and its crews, holding the Israeli occupation countable for the crime’s consequences.
The Ministry of Health stalwartly urged international and humanitarian organizations to take all necessary measures to ensure the protection of healthcare institutions, ambulances, and medical teams during such emergencies.
Israeli occupation forces also shot dead Palestinian Journalist Mohammad Al-Salehi while he was on duty covering erupting clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli soldiers at the Gaza fence.
In what seems to be a retaliation to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in Occupied Palestinian Territories as well as Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinian Resistance launched a military operation against the Israeli Military posts around the Gaza Strip early Saturday.
