DaysofPal- In a series of intense night raids, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) swept through several areas of the West Bank, killing a Palestinian civilian and injuring multiple others.
According to locals, the town of Ni’lin, located west of Ramallah, was heavily targeted by the Israeli forces who stormed the town center at dawn, deploying live ammunition and tear gas canisters extensively.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that Ahmad Abdul Fattah Shehadeh ,57 years old, from the town of Urif near Nablus, has died after he was shot by Israeli forces near the Al-Murabba checkpoint in the northern West Bank.
The Israeli assault left three young men injured amidst the confrontations.
In the town of Anata, Israeli troops conducted widespread raids, searching numerous homes, causing property damage, and detaining at least 16 young men following field interrogations.
The Gheith Palace was notably turned into a makeshift interrogation center.
The detainees identified include Yasser Mousa al-Rifai, Osama Jamil Hulwa, and several others, highlighting the scale of the operation.
Further escalating the tension, Israeli forces detained two young men from a public transport vehicle at the Awarta checkpoint southeast of Nablus this morning.
Additional Israeli raids were reported in the towns of Aqraba, Qaffin, and Deir Abu Mash‘al, although no arrests were confirmed in these locations.
In Qaffin, forces stormed the al-Ahrash area and raided the home of Sharif Sabah in Harsh al-‘Ajouli.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reports that since the beginning of the conflict, the number of arrests in the West Bank has surpassed 19,000, excluding thousands more in Gaza.
As of early September 2025, there are over 11,100 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons, including 49 women, 400 children, and 3,577 administrative detainees, underscoring the extensive impact of these operations.
These Israeli operations frequently draw international criticism for their impact on civilians and their living conditions.
