DaysofPal- The Follow-Up Committee for National and Islamic Forces has voiced its support for the participants in the “Freedom Flotilla,” describing it as an embodiment of the global conscience rejecting war and genocide in Gaza.
In a statement released Saturday, the committee saluted the convoy, which consists of dozens of ships carrying numerous supporters and prominent figures from across Europe and the world.
According to the committee, the flotilla represents vast sectors of international solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
The statement emphasized that the flotilla is “the conscience of humanity that stands against war and genocide, and stands on the side of justice and truth, as embodied by the Palestinian cause.”
The flotilla is seen as a voice for the global conscience, free from all forms of pressure or threats from Zionist or
American sources are against anyone who raises their voice for justice, human rights, and the rescue of the Palestinian people from what the committee described as a “machine of Zionist killing and destruction.”
The committee stated that the Israeli occupation is carrying out genocide in Gaza “before the eyes and ears of all the countries and governments of the world, defying all laws, treaties, norms, and human and international ethics.”
The committee further stated that the “Freedom Flotilla” is a practical expression exposing the failure of official policies to take decisive action to end the genocide and siege of the Gaza Strip.
It renewed its welcome to the flotilla and all those participating, expressing pride and appreciation for their efforts and for anyone working sincerely to support and show solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Some critics argue that flotillas may be used for political messaging, while supporters stress their importance as peaceful, nonviolent solidarity actions drawing attention to Gaza’s humanitarian crisis.
