The Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed Saturday, January 7, 2022, that the Palestinian detainees declared a state of comprehensive mobilization in preparation for a wide confrontation against the measures that the extremist occupation government intends to impose and its escalation of repression and abuse against them.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club added, in a statement against the extremist “Ben Ghafir”, who visited last night the new sections of “Nafha” prison to announce more threats, that he will meet the same fate the previous Israeli ministers met, in terms of the failure of their threats to break the steadfastness and valor of the Palestinian detainees and stop their struggle against the oppression of the Israeli prison administration.
The Club added that the Palestinian detainees went through more than 25 collective hunger strikes, imposed their struggles over the course of these decades, and the reality today in prisons is stronger and greater than what “Ben Ghafir” imagines.
The occupation authorities and the Israeli prisons administration are aware that what “Ben Gvir” demands today was requested by many extremist Israeli ministers before, and these threats did not achieve their demands because of the prisoners’ willingness to confront every measure that affects their dignity or detracts from their rights.
The prisoners went into successive battles against Israeli oppression and violations, and they did not stop. In fact, whoever monitors the details of the threats and the reality finds that the prison administration has failed to impose its measures on the Palestinian prisoners.
Behind these threats, it is trying to find a compromise between what the extremist Israeli occupation government wants and the imposed reality inside the prisons.
