Palestinian Prisoner Yusuf Nemer Mohammed Abu Qandil, from Jenin refugee camp, entered on Thursday, July 6, 2023, his 20th consecutive year in Israeli occupation prisons.
The director of the Palestinian Prisoners Club in Jenin, Montaser Samour, said that the Israeli occupation forces had arrested prisoner Abu Qandil in 2004 and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
Samour also mentioned that IOF killed Qandil’s brother in 2006.
Qandil added all members of Qandil’s family, including his mother, are ex-prisoners.
