The Israeli occupation released Monday, July 10, 2023, a Palestinian detainee after he spent nine consecutive years inside Israeli prisons.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli occupation released detainee Bashar Obaidi, 32, from the occupied Jerusalem village of AL-Isaweyya after he spent nine years in prison.
The Israeli intelligence summoned Obaidi to the “Al-Mascobiyya” Israeli interrogation center after his release from the “Negev” prison, the sources said.
It’s reported that Obaidi was detained with two of his friends in 2014, where they were brutally interrogated in “Al-Mascobiyya”.
Obaidi got married to a girl while he was in Israeli prison, where he met her while she was visiting her detained brother in 2019. She has been waiting for him all these years.
According to the latest Palestinian statistics, there are about 5000 Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons, including 160 minors, 29 women, 750 patients, and 1200 administrative detainees.
