Palestinian administrative detainee Adal Mousa entered on Monday, September 12, his 37th day of hunger strike in protest of his detention in Israeli prisons.
The Palestinian commission of detainees and ex-detainees said in a statement that Adal Mousa, 34, is held in solitary confinement in Ofer prison.
It added that prisoner Adal and his brother Ahmed started an open-ended hunger strike on August 7, which came one day after their arrest.
Ahmad suspended his hunger strike several days ago as Israeli occupation authorities promised to release him at the end of his current sentence without renewing his detention.
Palestinian reports revealed on Monday that Israeli occupation authorities issued 143 administrative detention orders in August 2022, renewing the detention of 129 Palestinian administrative detainees.
