American activists in solidarity with the Palestinian right in the United States protested to prevent Israeli ships from loading and unloading in the port of Tampa, Florida.

The activists organized a sit-down in front of the Port Workers Union building in central Tampa and distributed leaflets and posters containing information on human rights violations committed by the occupying power against our Palestinian people.

In this context, the University of Tampa branch of the Students for Justice in Palestine organization organized yesterday a demonstration in which dozens of solidarity activists participated in front of the port gate, protesting against the unloading of an Israeli ship in the port and urging the port’s cargo and unloading workers to boycott the ships. Israeli company.

In a press statement, the university branch indicated that the ZIM company often transports military equipment and technology to and from Israel on its ships, in addition to weapons and logistical equipment, which are used to commit crimes against the Palestinian people.

It is noteworthy that this event is part of the “Stop Israeli Ships” campaign, which prevented the loading and unloading of that company’s ships in several American and international ports.
