Days of Palestine – Ramallah
Last night and early Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests and raids in separate areas of the West Bank, targeting a number of citizens, including ex-prisoners and a woman from Ramallah.
In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the ex-prisoner, Muntasir Issa Shadeed, from Dura, after raiding and searching his house, vandalizing its contents, and beating him.
Israeli occupation forces arrested the ex-captive Sheikh Munther Muhammad Abu Atwan from the Tabqa area in Doura, after searching his house and tampering with its contents.
Israeli occupation forces set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to the city of Hebron and its towns and camps. They also stopped and searched citizens’ vehicles and checked their ID cards.
In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the director of the Health Work Committees Foundation, Shatha Abu Odeh, from her home in Ein Misbah in the city of Ramallah, and confiscated her personal vehicle.
Israeli occupation forces were notified to close the headquarters of the Health Work Committees in Ramallah for six months.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Abdul Qader Bilal Al-Khawaja (22 years), Khaled Talib Sorour (21 years), Ataba Jiyad Kanaan, and Saif Saif Imad Amira from Ni’lin town.
The Israeli occupation forces also stormed Kharbatha Al-Misbah, and arrested Naseem Akram Harfush and Abdullah Harfush from Deir Abu Mashal village; They also arrested Muhammad Abdel Halim Zahran, 20, after she raided and searched their homes.
In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Taha al-Titi from the northern mountain area and Muhammad al-Koni from the Rafidia neighborhood in the city.
In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin, and confrontations erupted, including armed clashes with resistance fighters in several axes, especially in the Jabriyat neighborhood.
The Israeli occupation soldiers raided the house of Hamas leader Sheikh Khaled al-Hajj after the main door was removed, and interrogated him on the ground without arrest, knowing that he was released from the occupation’s prisons about a month ago.
Israeli occupation forces raided the house of the representative of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Sheikh Khaled Suleiman, in the Jabriyat neighborhood, and interrogated him on the ground before they withdrew from the house.
Separate areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem witness daily incursions by the Israeli occupation forces, including raids and searches of homes, sabotaging their contents, and terrorizing their residents, especially women and children.
