It reported that what happened with Nizar was a premeditated assassination after storming his residence, severely beating him with batons on his head while he was sleeping, and spraying him with pepper gas as soon as he woke up.

The family demanded “the formation of an investigation committee that includes components from human rights organizations and the family, to prove the assassination of the activist Banat by the Palestinian Authority.
