28 Palestinians were killed including 10 children in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Monday evening while 152 others were injured.
The ministry of health said that 28 bodies were carried to local hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip including 10 children, one of them is a baby girl.
Israeli warplanes launched a series of air raids on various areas in the besieged enclave that started with fatal strikes in the northern city of Beit Hanun.
Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza had fired a barrage of rockets at Israeli targets earlier on Monday in retaliation to the Israeli attacks on the Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied East Jerusalem over the past few days.
