Days of Palestine – Bethlehem
Israeli settlers today burned dozens of old olive trees in the town of Beit Fajar, south of Bethlehem.
The director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority’s office in Bethlehem, Hassan Barijia, said that a group of settlers burned 50 olive trees in the Deir Maalla area, north of the town, owned by Naseem Taqatqa.
Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank.
