The Israeli occupation forces Sunday raided the home of the leader of Hamas and the candidate on its electoral list, "Al-Quds Our Destination," the prisoner Hassan Wardyan and his relatives, in the Handaza area east of Bethlehem, searched it and tampered with its contents, and arrested his son, the ex-prisoner, Mahmoud Al-Wardian.

Diaa Al-Wardian, son of leader Hassan, reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of the prisoner Sheikh Hassan Al-Wardian and the homes of his sons, and deliberately cracking, vandalizing its contents.

The leader, Wardian, an ex-prisoner, was arrested last week and spent more than 20 years in the Israeli occupation prisons. He is a leader in the Hamas movement in the Bethlehem governorate and one of its candidates on the "Al-Quds Our Destination" list.

The recent period has witnessed the arrest of the occupation forces of many leaders of Hamas and its members, coinciding with the preparation for holding the legislative elections that were agreed to be held during the next month.
