The Israeli occupation forces last night and at dawn today, launched a campaign of raids and arrests in separate areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
In Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation forces raided the home of the leader of Hamas and the candidate on its electoral list, "Al-Quds Our Destination," the prisoner Hassan Wardyan and his relatives, in the Handaza area east of Bethlehem, searched it and tampered with its contents, and arrested his son, the ex-prisoner, Mahmoud Al-Wardian.
In a related context, the Israeli occupation forces arrested three young men from the village of Harmala, east of Bethlehem who identified as Fadi Adel Atallah (22 years), Ibrahim Wajih Sabah (23 years), Hamza Awad Atallah (24 years), and Bassam Al-Zeer after they raided their homes and searched them.
In Hebron, dozens of civilians were suffocated with tear gas, during clashes that erupted after the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Abu Touq area, near the entrance to Beit Ummar, and fired toxic tear gas canisters at citizens' homes, causing dozens of suffocation injuries.
In occupied Jerusalem, clashes erupted with the Israeli occupation forces, in the village of Issawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested Hassan Yasser Darwish (20 years), Ahmed Essam Darwish and his brother Majed, from their homes, amid clashes with the occupation army, which stormed the village after closing its entrances.
In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man, Yusef Alyan, from Jalazoun camp in Ramallah, and arrested a young Mujahid al-Shani in the city of Ramallah.
In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, and arrested three young men who identified as Mahmoud Abu al-Rub, Muhammad Dhiab, Muhammad Kamil and Muhammad Zakarneh, after raiding their relatives' homes and tampering with their contents.
Separate areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem witness daily night incursions, interspersed with raids and searches of homes, vandalizing their contents, and terrorizing their residents, especially women and children.
