Days of Palestine – Hebron
Prisoner Imad Al-Batran (47 years) from Hebron suspended, on Wednesday evening, his open hunger strike, which lasted 47 days, after an agreement to set a ceiling for his administrative detention.
The Palestinian Prisoner Club stated that the agreement stipulates that the administrative detention against Al-Batran will end in July of this year.
It is noteworthy that the prisoner Al-Battran, who has been detained since January 27, 2020, is currently in Nitzan Ramleh isolation prison after he was transferred to it in late March due to a deterioration in his health condition.
The prisoner Al-Batran began his hunger strike on 20 February in the cells of "Megiddo" prison, and this strike is the third he has been waging to reject his administrative detention since 2013.
It is noteworthy that Al-Batran is married and a father of five children, and he has faced repeated arrests since the beginning of the nineties, and spent a total of 10 years in the prisons of the Israeli occupation.
