Israeli occupation forces again demolished Al-Araqeeb village in the Negev Desert on Thursday for the 185nd time

Local sources said that the Israeli forces entered the village with a number of bulldozers and demolished homes and tents.
 

The residents were displaced and the demolition went ahead despite the cold weather.

This is the fourth time that the Israeli authorities have demolished tin houses and tents for the people of Al-Araqeeb from the beginning of this year 2021 until today, while the people re-erect them every time from wood and nylon to protect them from the bitter cold in the prevailing atmosphere and despite the Corona pandemic.

The village was first destroyed in 2010, Al Araqib is one of about 35 unrecognized Bedouin villages in the Naqab that the Israeli authorities seek to demolish and to confiscate its land.
