The Israeli occupation forces today, Monday morning detained dozens of Palestinian women near the Al-Sahira Gate, one of the doors of the Jerusalem Wall, while they were heading to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

Jerusalem sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces detained a group of women coming from the West Bank to perform prayers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli occupation forces also confiscated the identity cards of female citizens at Al-Sahira Gate, on the grounds that they did not possess an entry permit to Al-Aqsa.

Among the detainees were a number of children who were arrested by the occupation soldiers and terrorized with their weapons and equipment.
