Israeli forces and settlers bulldozed agricultural dunums in the West Bank

Days of Palestine -

Days of Palestine – Nablus

Israeli settlers today, Wednesday, uprooted 40 olive seedlings from Jaloud lands, south of Nablus, and stole them.

The official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Douglas, said that a number of settlers from the settlement outpost "Hayah" uprooted 40 olive seedlings from Jalud lands located in Basin No. (6), the Sheikh Bishr site, for citizen Rajeh Salameh Hammoud, and stole them.

It is noteworthy that, at the beginning of this year, settlers uprooted hundreds of olive seedlings and stole them in the Shaab al-Kharab area, east of Qasra, south of Nablus.

Days earlier, the Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre of 3,000 olive trees in the town of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, in a clear and systematic targeting of olive trees in all areas of the West Bank.

In this context, Israeli occupation forces bulldozed 5 dunums today and uprooted olive trees in Ras Karkar, northwest of Ramallah.

The victim, Numan Nofal, said that the Israeli occupation vehicles swept away five dunams of his land and uprooted more than 20 olive trees.

Nofal added that the Israeli occupation forces had seized 38 dunums of his land during the past two years, and prevented him from entering the remaining 12 dunums to cultivate and plow.

Ras Karkar village is located 12-kilo meters west of Ramallah and is about 500 meters above sea level. Its total land area is 5900 dunums, and the built-up area is 205 dunums.

The village suffers from systematic targeting by the Israeli occupation, as the settlement of "Talmon C", which was established in 1989, looted more than 32 dunums of the village's lands, and bypass road No. 463 looted 295 dunums of the village's lands.
