Israel suppresses march, shoots five Palestinian in Nablus

Three Palestinian civilians today, Friday, were injured by live bullets, and others were shot with rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens of people suffocated with tear gas, during the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of the march of Beit Dajan village, east of Nablus.

Clashes erupted between the youths and the Israeli occupation soldiers, during the weekly anti-settlement march in the town, and Minister of Labor Nasri Abu Jaish was also beaten during his participation in the march.

A member of the Land Defense Committee in the village, Salim Abu Jaish, said that the Israeli occupation forces fired live and metal-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the marchers, wounding 3 young men with live bullets, and two others with rubber-coated metal and two civilians were injured after the Israeli occupation soldiers attacked them with rifle butts, and dozens suffocated with tear gas.

He pointed out that the Israeli occupation forces attacked the participants in the peaceful event, which was launched from in front of the Great Mosque in the center of the village to the eastern region threatened with seizure in favor of settlements.
