Palestine today recorded 2,011 new Covid-19 cases and 19 deaths, according to Health Minister Mai Al-Kaileh.
She said in the daily report on coronavirus in Palestine that 1384 new cases were recorded in the West Bank along with 16 deaths, while 1046 patients have recovered.
East Jerusalem had 492 new cases, two deaths, and 286 recoveries recorded over two days, while the Gaza Strip had 135 new cases, one death, and 98 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours.
Alkaila said that 146 patients are getting treatment in intensive care units, including 38 who are on ventilators.
89.2 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease, while the rate of active cases has reached 9.7 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases, according to data updated today by the ministry.
