Days of Palestine – Ramallah

The Israeli occupation forces today, Monday, launched a large-scale arrest campaign, which focused on the cities of Jerusalem and Hebron, while the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm witnessed clashes with the Israeli occupation forces.

In occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young Omar Dhiab (23 years old) after raiding his house in Shuafat Camp, and the child Hassan Yasser Darwish (15) years after storming his family's home in Al-Issawiya.

The Israeli occupation forces also arrested young men Awni Obeid, Nadim Al-Khatib, and Hamza Salah El-Din, from separate areas in Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation soldiers raided the house of the Palestinian ex-prisoner, Suhaib Afaneh, in the town of Sur Baher, and destroyed it.

In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young Ezz Al-Din Mustafa Abu Hussein (24 years), and Muthana Omar Al-Qawasmi (20 years), and from the town of Al-Shuyukh northeast of Hebron, they arrested Thameen Ahmed Halaiqa (25 years), after raiding and searching their homes and destroying their contents.

They also arrested Wael Hassan al-Jawda and his son Hassan, and the young man, Bara Yusef Asafra, from the town of Beit Kahil, northwest of Hebron, and took them after tampering with the contents of their homes to an unknown destination.

In the town of Beit Ummar, the Israeli occupation forces raided several homes in the Safa area, searched them and tampered with their contents, and arrested the young Atef Mahmoud Taamrah (25 years old) and took him to the Asion camp, north of Hebron.

In the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces arrested several young men after raiding their homes in the city.

Montaser Sammour, director of the Palestinian Prisoner Club in Jenin, stated that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young Muhammad Ahmad Yahya (24 years), and the two brothers Hisham (20 years) and Hussam Ahmad Yahya (17 years), after raiding their homes and tampering with their contents.

Samour added that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the ex-prisoner, Yusef Abdel-Malik Al-Saadi, 29, from the town of Silat Al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, after raiding his home.

In the city of Tulkarm, clashes erupted between citizens and the Israeli occupation forces after they stormed the Nur Shams camp, east of the city.

Eyewitnesses stated that the Israeli occupation forces fired sound and gas canisters at the citizens, at the time they stormed the house of Jaber Yousef Fahmawi, searched it, and tampered with its contents. No injuries or arrests were reported.

The daily arrests and the raiding of homes in the West Bank and Jerusalem have become a recurring scene by the Israeli occupation forces, which do not hesitate to spread terror, devastation, and destruction everywhere they take place, especially the homes of the safe.
