Palestine today recorded 599 new Covid-19 cases and ten deaths, according to Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh.

Health Minister Mai Alkaila said in her daily report on coronavirus in Palestine that eight people have died in the West Bank, where 509 new cases were recorded, and 396 patients have recovered, and two have died in the Gaza Strip where 90 new cases were recorded, and 195 have recovered.

She said that 72 patients remain in intensive care units, among them 24 are on respirators.

Recoveries account for 93.1 percent of total cases since the pandemic outbreak in March, active cases for 5.8 percent and the death toll accounts for 1.1 percent.
