A Hebrew newspaper revealed, on Thursday morning, the details of a settlement scheme to build a new neighborhood in the center of occupied Jerusalem.
The Hebrew newspaper "Calcalist" stated that the plan is to build a new settlement neighborhood consisting of 900 settlement units near the Malha commercial complex in central the city of occupied Jerusalem.
It pointed out that the so-called "Israeli Lands" Authority is seeking these days to approve a 205-donum structural plan that includes sports facilities and housing units distributed over 24-story buildings, in addition to 250 protected housing units, and offices of an area of 330 square meters, up to 30 floors and commercial areas of 20 thousand square meters.
It also indicated that the plan will be presented this week to the National Planning and Building Committee in Jerusalem, after fulfilling the conditions.
It explained that it is estimated that a date will be set soon to approve the plan.
Yesterday, the municipality of Israeli occupation in Jerusalem announced the approval of a plan to build another 900 settlement units in the settlement of "Pisgat Zeev", north of the city.
