A massive campaign of Israeli arrests in the West Bank and Jerusalem

Days of Palestine – Ramallah

The Israeli occupation forces launched, last night and at dawn today, Thursday, a large-scale arrest campaign in separate areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, concentrated in the Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem and the towns of Kafr Malik and Al-Mughayir in Ramallah.

In the occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 8 young men after they raided and searched their homes in the Al-Tur neighborhood, most of them from the same family, and as a result, clashes broke out between the neighborhood's residents and the Israeli occupation forces.

The Al-Tur detainees were identified as Muhammad Akram Abu Al-Hawa, Khalil Ata Abu Al-Hawa, Ashraf Ghaith, Ibrahim Abu Al-Hawa, Daoud Abu Hatab, Fadi Hijazi Abu Al-Hawa, Adam Sami Abu Al-Hawa, and Tamer Mahmoud Abu Al-Hawa.

In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of Al-Mughayer and Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah, and launched a campaign of arrests of about 20 young men, while placing threatening statements on the homes of the arrested citizens.

According to local sources, the arrests in the village of Al Mughayer affected Ayman Abu Alia and his son Bassam, who are the father and brother of the martyr Ali Abu Alia, who was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces in Al Mughayer town about 10 days ago.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested Muhammad Thaer Abu Ali, Shadi Bilal Naasan, Jalal Naasan, Abbas Abu Alya, Mutasim Mufid Abu Alya, Qusay Mustafa Abu Alya, Raed Ghazi Naasan, Uday Najeeb Naasan, Muhammad Abdullah Naasan and Naasan Firas Naasan Mujahid Ghazi Naasan, Ali Tariq al-Hajj Muhammad, Mu'adh Rasmi Abu Ali, and Ayoub Rasmi Abu Ali.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested the young man, Muhammad Yusef Khaled after they raided and searched his house in the town of Birzeit, Ramallah District.

In Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Beit Ta`mar, east of Bethlehem, and arrested Jamil Muhammad Suman, 25, after they raided and searched his father's house.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the areas of Rakhmah, Harmala and Tekoa, and Jannatah, east of Bethlehem, without any arrests reported.

In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Sanur, south of Jenin, and arrested the two young men, Faris Najeh Eisa and Daoud Gharbia. They also raided the house of Fathi Jarrar and tampered with its contents.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the eastern neighborhood in Jenin, and arrested the freed prisoner, Muhammad Nassif Ghawadra, after raiding his house and tampering with its contents.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested the young Nidal Allam Zakarneh, a resident of Deir Ghazala village, Jenin district, while he was passing through the "Za'tara" checkpoint south of Nablus.

In Tulkarm, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Sheikh Raafat Abu Sharifa from his home in the eastern neighborhood of Tulkarm, at dawn today.

In Tubas, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Far'a camp, south of Tubas, and arrested the young Daoud Gharbia, after they raided and searched his home.
