The Israeli occupation forces on Monday morning opened heavy fire towards fishermen at sea and farmers in separate areas in the east of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that Israeli gunboats fired intensively at intervals throughout the night and early morning hours, towards the fishermen's boats in the sea in the areas of Beit Lahia and Sudania in the north, and Rafah in the southern Gaza, so fishermen were forced to leave the sea.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces towards the agricultural lands adjacent to the security fence in the east of the Strip.
The sources indicated that the shooting was concentrated east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis, in the south of Gaza, east of Maghazi camp and al-Bureij in the central governorate, and north of the town of Beit Hanoun in the north.
No injuries were reported, the sources affirmed.
The border areas of the Gaza Strip are subjected to almost daily attacks by the Israeli occupation forces.
