Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday notified the demolition of homes, water wells, and agricultural rooms, in the Al-Jawaya community, east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
The Coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees south of Hebron, Fuad al-Amor, said that the Israeli occupation forces had notified the demolition of six houses, two wells for collecting water, and four agricultural tin rooms in the Al-Jawaya community east of Yatta, close to the settlement of Ma'on.
He mentioned that properties owned by the families of Al-Nawajah and Al-Shawahin, under the pretext of not being licensed, and under the pretext of its proximity to the bypass road and the settlements of East Yatta.
For his part, the coordinator of the Popular and National Committees for Resisting the Wall and Settlement, Ratib al-Jabour, indicated that the Israeli occupation has notified the demolition of the homes of Adham Ahmad Al-Shawahin, Ahmed Muhammad Al-Shawahin, Muhammad Ali Hussein Al-Shawahin, Muhammad Ahmad Al-Shawahin, and Awad Al-Nawajah.
It also ordered the demolition of shantytowns, a well of water belonging to Musa Hassan al-Shawahin, and a well of water belonging to Muhammad Husayn al-Shawahin, Hassan Muhammad al-Shawahin, and Abd al-Jamal al-Nawajaa
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation authorities demolished and threatened to demolish dozens of homes and water wells in Masafer Yatta, as part of their policy of restricting the citizens there and forcing them to leave for the sake of settlements.
