Israeli occupation forces demolished at least 4 Palestinian homes and displaced 44 of their residents, in Shalal Al-Auja area, north of Jericho, today.
The mayor of Al-Auja town, Salah Freijat, stated that large forces of the occupation army, stormed with bulldozers the area and started to demolish four homes owned by the Palestinians: Hani and his son Ata Tarifat, with more than 25 people of his family, Suleiman Daoud Tarifat, with 10, and Muhammad Yassin Musa Rashaida, with 9.
The Palestinian citizens confronted the occupation forces, and confrontations erupted during which the Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters, closed all entrances to the area, and prevented the press and human rights teams from entering, indicating that the demolition process continues until this moment.
