The so-called (Central Court) of the Israeli occupation in occupied Jerusalem has senteced today, Monday morning, the female prisoner, Iman Al-Awar, 45, from Silwan, south of occupied Jerusalem, for a period of 22 months, and imposed a fine of 20 thousand shekels, due to her social activities with the families of Palestinian prisoners.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club indicated that Al-Awar prisoner has been detained since last June and suffers from difficult health problems, and the occupation also continues to arrest her husband, son and brother.
The occupation authorities have arrested nearly 4,300 Palestinian prisoners in 23 detention and investigation centers. Among them (35) female prisoners, (170) children, (9) members of the Legislative Council, (27) journalists, (450) administrative detainees, in addition to (700) sick prisoners. Among them, about (200) cases need urgent medical intervention and the provision of the necessary care.
