The co-founder of Pink Floyd and also one of the most outspoken activist celebrities of the world, Roger Waters, has shared a new tweet on his official Twitter account today and made an urgent call to help dying kids in Palestine.
Today, Palestine/Israel based news site named Palestine DeepDive has shared a never-unearthed-before interview that Rolling Stone made with Waters in November 2017. For some reason, Rolling Stone has chosen not to publish the article.
However, after Palestine DeepDive has shared the interview, Roger took his Twitter account and announced the news to seek help for Palestinian kids by changing the lyrics of ‘Another Brick In The Wall.’
While talking about the Palestinian Civil Society’s call for himself on the day that Universal Children’s Day is celebrated, Roger urged his fans to join the ‘Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions’ movement which aims to pressure the Israeli government into respecting Palestinian rights and granting them their long-denied freedom.
Pink Floyd icon Roger Waters wrote this on the tweet:
“Hey! Pompeo, leave them kids alone!
Do the right thing, Mike.
Jump off that sinking ship
And join BDS.
It’s the right thing to do.”
