Dozens of Palestinians participated today in Ramallah city center in a protest rally against Israeli plans to annex a large part of the occupied West Bank, including the Jordan Valley, northern Dead Sea and the illegal Israeli settlements spread throughout the West Bank.
The demonstrators carried placards denouncing the Israeli plan, which was supposed to go into effect today.
The rally coincided with similar protests in some 30 locations around the world, said the protest organizers.
In Gaza City, Palestinian factions denounced in a demonstration attended by hundreds of people the Israeli annexation plan.
