A Palestinian worker was shot and injured late last night and anther one detained in an Israeli army pursuit near the separation barrier in the north of the West Bank, according to local sources and witnesses.
They told that soldiers pursued workers near the barrier separating the West Bank from Israel near the village of Rummaneh, west of Jenin, and opened fire at them.
One worker was shot in the leg and was reported in serious condition and another one was detained.
Several other workers suffered suffocation when soldiers fired teargas at them in the same area, said the sources.
