Days Of Palestine – Jerusalem

Thousands of Palestinian citizens performed the Dawn Prayer of Friday in al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem as part of a campaign to intensify the Palestinian presence at the site and protect it against settler raids.

Following the prayers, the worshipers marched in al-Aqsa courtyard and chanted slogans vowing to protect al-Aqsa Mosque and condemning the Israeli violations.

The campaign followed Israeli threats to reclose Bab al-Rahma prayer area in the mosque.

Thousands of Palestinians from Jerusalem and some neighboring areas flocked to the mosque to attend the prayer despite the stormy weather and heavy rain.

Hot drinks were offered to the worshipers by young volunteers.
