Israeli warplanes on Thursday night launched several airstrikes on different areas of the Gaza Strip in response to alleged rocket fire.
Local sources said that warplanes bombed a resistance site belonging to al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas in Beit Lahia and another one in the southwest of Khan Younis.
An aerial attack also targeted a cultivated plot of land near the destroyed airport in the east of Rafah.
The Israeli occupation army claimed that one rocket fired from Gaza towards Israel had been spotted and intercepted by its anti-missile batteries.
