Members of a Palestinian family suffered injuries when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday night attacked their home in Hizma town, east of Jerusalem.
The incident happened when Israeli soldiers chased a group of youths in Martyr Mohamed Kanaan neighborhood in the central area of the town and showered a house belonging to the family of Kanaan with tear gas grenades.
Consequently, all members of the family, including an infant, suffered from their exposure to tear gas, which spread inside the house.
The infant, who is under one year of age, was rushed to a nearby medical center.

The IOF recently intensified its raids on Hizma town and its environs and set up makeshift checkpoints at its main entrances.
