A Palestinian child was injured on Tuesday evening by a tear gas canister fired by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during a raid on al-Janiya village west of Ramallah City.

Quds Press reported, quoting local sources, that the IOF stormed al-Janiya village amid heavy and random firing of tear gas canisters and stun grenades.

The local sources said that a child suffered various burns after he was hit by a tear gas canister while he was in his home's yard.

He was transferred to Palestine Medical Complex for treatment and his injuries were described as "moderate".
