The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening imposed a curfew on some neighborhoods of Azzun town in Qalqilya and forced storeowners to close their businesses.

According to local sources, the curfew and the closure of stores took place in the area extending from the main entrance to Azzun town to the Azzun secondary schools for boys.

The IOF has been closing the main northern entrance to the town with a road barrier for days. There is also a military roadblock at the western entrance to the town near Izbat at-Tabib village.

These road closures prompt local residents to use long routes to go to their destinations.
