Dozens of Palestinians injured in West Bank protests

Days of Palestine -

Scores of Palestinian citizens were wounded on Friday by gunfire and tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces who quelled several demonstrations against the settlement and the separation wall in the West Bank.

The Israeli forces in Ramallah attacked a march in Kafr Malik village against Israel's seizure of Palestinian-owned lands in favor of building a new settler outpost.

Local sources said that a Palestinian citizen was injured by a rubber-coated metal bullet while dozens choked on tear gas.

Meanwhile in Qalqilya, a number of Palestinian protesters suffered breathing difficulties as a result of inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli forces who quelled a peaceful demonstration in Kafr Qaddoum village against the settlement.

In Ni'lin village, west of Ramallah, the Israeli forces quelled a demonstration against the separation wall heavily firing tear gas canisters and stun grenades at the Palestinian demonstrators. No injuries were reported.
