Israeli occupation forces (IOF) deliberately continue targeting the Palestinians journalists while covering the Great Return March rallies.
Despite the protections enshrined by the international laws and conventions of journalists and civilians during protests and wars, Israeli snipers shot two Palestinian journalists on the 67th Friday of the peaceful Great Return March.
According to the Ministry of Health, the Israeli occupation forces shot 97 citizens, 49 of them injured with live ammunition, in addition to 4 paramedics and two journalists, east of Gaza, on the 67th Friday of (GMRBS).
Local sources reported that the journalists Sami Mosran and Safinaz al-Louh were targeted Friday by Israeli rubber bullets during the coverage of the Great Return March.
The sources added that the Ministry of Health described the condition of journalist Sami Mosran's injury as serious as the Israeli snipers shoot him in the eye.
Sami Mosran is one of the crew members of Al-Aqsa TV channel who has been working since the beginning of the Great March of Return.
Al-Aqsa TV condemned the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians journalists and formally requested that the International Criminal Court prosecutor investigate the deliberate targeting of journalists in Gaza as war crimes.
Meanwhile, the Higher National Commission of Great March of Return and Breaking of Siege condemned the deliberate targeting of the Palestinians journalists by the Israeli occupation forces and appealed to the international community to put an end to these crimes.
Since the first day, when the Great March of Return began to this day, Israel fatally shot and killed hundreds of Palestinians and injured thousands of others with different injuries.
The Ministry of Health of Gaza reported that since the beginning g of the protestors in March 2018, 320 Gazans were killed and more than 31,000 injured while taking part at the Great March of Return rallies.
