Jewish settlers on Wednesday evening set fire to olive groves in Burin village, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar set hundreds of olive trees ablaze in the northern area of Burin village.
Daghlas added that the Israeli occupation forces prevented Palestinian fire fighters from going to the fire area, which led to widespread destruction of trees in the groves.
