Jerusalem,
The Israeli occupation police on Thursday night violently attacked Palestinian worshipers as they were leaving the Aqsa Mosque, especially in Bab al-Amoud area.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli police forces intensively fired live ammunition and tear gas and stun grenades at Palestinian citizens as they were leaving the Mosque or standing outside it, especially in Bab al-Amoud area.
The Red Crescent said its ambulance crew provided on-site medical assistance to six wounded Palestinians and transferred four of them to hospitals in Occupied Jerusalem.
It added that one of the wounded citizens suffered a serious rubber bullet injury in one of his eyes.
Earlier, the Israeli police barred Red Crescent paramedics from entering the Aqsa Mosque, without providing reasons for the measure.
