Churches of Palestinian Holy Land expressed their solidarity with Sri Lanka following a series of attacks on Sunday, coinciding with Easter, targeting churches and hotels that killed at least 156 people.
"We express our solidarity with Sri Lanka We express our solidarity with Sri Lanka and all its people in all religious and ethnic backgrounds," said a statement issued by the Churches of the Holy Land.
The statement added: “We pray for the lives of victims, ask for the speedy recovery of the wounded, and ask God to inspire the terrorists to repent of murder and intimidation,”
Earlier yesterday, bombings rocked various sites, including three churches and three hotels in Sri Lanka, where the nature of the blasts is still unknown and no one claimed responsibility.
