The Israeli military court of Ofer on Tuesday decided to freeze its decision to release Amal al-Tahhan, the wife of prisoner Tareq al-Barghouthi, on bail for 24 hours.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS), the Ofer court backtracked on the release of Tahhan after the Israeli prosecutor filed an appeal against its decision.
The PPS said that the Palestinian lawyers would continue to boycott the courts of Ofer and Salem until the wife of their fellow lawyer al-Barghouthi was released.
The lawyers intend to file an appeal against the decision to freeze the release of Tahhan.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Tuesday morning the wife of lawyer al-Barghouthi and his brother to pressure him to make certain confession.
